A large rambling building in the village of Hightown between Crosby and Formby, renovated and renamed the Hightown Pub and Kitchen in 2020 Open plan with some separation of room and features apparent from the former room plan (including front lounge and a separate dining room, but you can also eat in other rooms. Popular with walkers and cyclists and those visiting a selection of real ale pubs easily accessible by train, as well as local people. The building was a 'Reform School' for Liverpool Education Authority in the early 20th Century
