The Lakeside has a former place in the Guinness Book of World Records as Britain’s smallest pub. The pub overlooks the towns marine lake. Rowers practicing on the marine lake behind the pub are also regulars. Outside tables to the front and rear can be used in warm weather, a lovely place to have a drink and watch the world go by! Opening hours are reduced on certain days in the winter months. It has old posters on the walls from the formerly adjacent Southport Theatre. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
