The pub has re-opened under new management and is now serving 3 cask beers, Tetley Bitter, Old Speckled Hen and Bombardier although other beers may follow in the future. The management also have the Golden Lion in the centre of Ormskirk. The pub no longer serves food and is open late Thurs-Sat till 2.00 AM. There are large screens showing sport in each room in the pub.
