Excellent local club in the north end of town. The Fleetwood Hesketh Club was founded in 1925, the land gifted by the Fleetwood Hesketh family to be used as a recreation ground. Shortly after two ex-army huts were acquired and erected on the ground by volunteers, earning the club the nickname "The Hut". Fleetwood Hesketh has its own cricket team and features many other sports such as indoor bowls. It is also popular for followers of Premier League football, featuring all the big games
